The site falls within the parish of Wivelsfield and is located on the southern edge of Wivelsfield Green. The eastern part of the site abuts South Road which is lined by residential development. There is agricultural land to the west and the northern boundary abuts a housing development which is being developed for 45 new homes.

The site is within easy walking distance to essential local amenities, including Wivelsfield Primary School, Londis/Post Office, The Cock Inn pub, bus stops, the village hall, and the local playing field. This sustainable location promotes a more sustainable lifestyle, reducing reliance on cars and fostering a stronger sense of community.

Our goal is to create a vibrant, sustainable community that provides around 100 well designed and sustainable new homes for the local people of Wivelsfield Green

We will provide for 40% affordable new homes on site. Over 60% of the site will be delivered as public open space, play areas, and green infrastructure that promote health, wellbeing, and ecological diversity.

The proposal has the potential to introduce new woodland and enhances existing green features, including mature trees and hedgerows while also fostering community connections through central green spaces.

The Vision for the site is to create a high-quality place that positively responds to the townscape and landscape character of Wivelsfield Green. The new neighbourhood will safeguard a large area of open space and retain and enhance the existing hedgerows and trees. The development will work with the natural topography to create an attractive and distinctive place with a sequence of green spaces and a dynamic roofscape.
